TY!

I’d be really grateful if you could take a look at my work, any feedback would help me a lot

Sure Thing!

Thanks 🙏

hello mu_rpy i have played the game i like it but here is my thoughts after playing/UX testing it.

# UX Game Testing Feedback

**1. Tester Info**

- Name / Alias: Michael Richardson

- Date: 8/13/2025

- Platform / Device: Windows 10 PC

**2. First Impressions (0–2 minutes)**

- What did you notice first? I landed in a sewer surrounded by 4 walls and a gate in front of me.

- Was it easy to understand what to do?  It is easy to understand what to do, you run forward and open the gate.

- Did anything confuse you right away? Yes not having a quest menu or knowing exactly where to go or what to do next, and also before you walk out of the gate there needs to be a weapon, if there is a weapon in the first room where you land, it is not clear where it is, there needs to be some kind of indicator where to go and where weapons are located.

**3. Controls & Mechanics**

- How did the controls feel? (responsive, clunky, smooth?)  the controls are responsive and smooth, there are no problems in that regard.

- Was movement or navigation natural and clear? Navigation is not clear there needs to be some kind of marker stating where you need to go.

**4. UI & Visual Design**

- Were buttons, icons, and HUD elements clear and readable? I did not see any hud elements at all no icons no buttons, there needs to be a attack button at the bottom right that you can press to attack things. Needs to be some kind of hud menu or element to show health bars and stats/skills if there are any stats and skills. And there is some writing across the top not readable at all.

- Did anything block your view or feel distracting? Nothing really blocked my view or felt distracting.

**5. Gameplay Flow & Objectives**

- Did you understand your goals or what to do next?  I did not understand where to go or what to do. I mean i read a paper that said you needed to get keys to unlock the door at the top where i landed. Other than that was no clarity at all of where to go or what to do. I think there could be a little tutorial when you land or some kind off guidance.

- Did pacing feel too slow, rushed, or just right? Pacing seemed good.

**6. Feedback & System Responses**

- Did actions provide clear feedback (sounds, visual cues)?  When you would move it sounded like the sounds were intermittent.

- Anything felt unclear or unrewarding? Where to go, how to get a weapon so you don’t die by zombies unless the whole goal is just run from zombies so they don’t kill you instead of fighting them. There really is no reward for doing anything in the game.

**7. Challenge & Engagement**

- Was the difficulty appropriate? The difficulty would be fine as is i think if there was more clarity on how to get weapons and attack mobs.

- Were you engaged or bored at any point? Why? I was engaged because there are things to do like look for keys and if i had a weapon id have been even more engaged with the game at that point.

**8. Bugs, Obstructions, or Frustrations**

- Any crashes, freezes, visual glitches, or odd behavior? I didn't run into any glitches freezes, where the frustration came in is there is no clarity where to go what to do next or how to do it. If we could get a main HUD that shows quests or anything that would help a lot.

**9. Overall Thoughts**

- What worked well: the movements were solid not slow or clunky, the graphics are good for what kind of game it is.

- What should be improved: the game needs a HUD menu at the very least for health bar and a map would help clarify possibly where to go that or a line showing you where to go to get weapons or marks showing just a little bit of clarity and the game would be good.

- Would you keep playing? Why or why not? I would keep playing if things get fixed that is in the what should be improved area, why would i keep playing because it has potential to be a great game. So now to the why i wouldn't keep playing in the state its in now, would be due to no clarity of what to do, where to go, or how to pick up or get weapons, and also having only 3 lives i think is not a great idea for the game especially in the current state, i would raise it to like 5.

thank you for the game and i enjoyed playing/testing what i could.

TYSM for your feedback! Yes i am planning to add more things to the game, i know its not perfect but i wanted to see others thoughts on it. And yes i will be planning to add your suggestions 👍

Ty very much for the reply and also do you mind if I put this on my resume as a project to try and get work as a UX game tester? And also once you add more stuff to the game I am willing to help Test and give feedback again if you would like! If ya do want me to do it you can either post here or contact me at my email: webmaster30001@gmail.com.

Absolutely! I’m glad it’s been helpful, and I’d love to have your feedback again in the future!

i really appreciate it! and also what game engine are you using? and also thanks for giving me permission to add this to my resume. and also looking at my feedback is there to much info or is it just about right? sometimes i can get real in-depth with it.

I've recently transitioned from godot to unreal engine. And your feedback was just right! Ty again for trying out the game!
